BOYS & GIRLS U6-U14

COST:
- Individual Player Fee $15.00 for Current USLA Players and $30.00 for Non-USLA Players
- Team Registration Fee for Current USLA Players is $15.00 Per Player (Cuota de Inscripcion del Jugador que esta jugando con USLA es $15.00)
- Team Registration Fee for Non-USLA Teams is $30.00 Per Player (Si usted no jugar con USLA el Cuota de Inscripcion del jugador es $30.00)
- TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY FULL PAYMENT AS APPLIED TO THAT AGE GROUP (Los equipos estan obligados a pagar el pago completo en su aplicacion a ese grupo de edad). i.e. U10 ROSTER OF 5 REQUIRED TO PAY $75.00 (CURRENT USLA) OR $150 (NON USLA)
GAME DATES: June 15, 22nd, 29th, July 13th, 20th, and 27th / Rainout make up dates: Aug 3 and 10
LOCATION: Lowell Middle School, 919 Thompson Place, San Antonio, TX 78207 (possible OST relocation pending availability)
GAME TIME PROJECTIONS: 6:30pm-7:25pm and 7:30pm-8:25pm
TEAM SIZES:
U6: born in 2011, and 2012, max team size 6, play 3v3 with no gk, period of play- 4 for 8 minutes each. SIZE 3 BALL.
U7/U8: born in 2009 and 2010 , max team size 8, play 4v4 with no gk, periods of play - 4 for 10 minutes each. SIZE 4 BALL
U10 - U14 born in 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, and 2003, max team size 10, play 5v5 including keepers, periods of play- 2 for 20 minutes each. SIZE 4 BALL
RULES OF PLAY:
U6 and U7/8
Any ball that goes out of bounds can be dribbled, passed, or even shot as a direct kick to restart the game.
Do not call accidental hand balls, especially if the player is protecting themselves. A volunteer parent coach MUST be ON field with each team for U6.
The volunteer parent coach MUST be on the sideline for U7/8 games.
If there is an obvious foul, play will resume with an indirect kick: two players must touch it for a goal to be scored.
Either team may substitute anytime the ball is out of bounds.
When restarting play, opponents must be a minimum of 6 steps away from the ball on all sides of the ball.
When a goal is scored, play restarts in the middle of the field.
U10 -U14
Any ball that goes out of bounds is restarted as a direct kick. It can be shot or passed. The player cannot dribble it onto the field.
Officials will call fouls and award only INDIRECT KICKS. NO PENALTY KICKS.
Teams may substitute anytime the ball goes out of bounds.
When restarting play, opponents must be a minimum of 10 steps away from the ball on all sides of the ball.
When a goal is scored, play restarts at the middle of the field.
RULES FOR SPECTATORS AND PARENTS: Zero Tolerance- You may be refused entry for a SINGLE offense.
No one can sit within five steps of the out of bounds lines.
Absolutely no profanity or negative shouting at the players, officials, or other parents, whether your team or the opposing team. Be encouraging.
No smoking. No alcohol.
